🚀 Mission
We enable anyone in the world to connect, learn and share knowledge in STEM+A robotics.
Empowering the creators of the future
🐱💻 How it all started?
Back in 2016, founder and Design Engineer Camilo saw the need for accessible DIY robots for the public, as it was only available to professionals at that time.
After lots of iterations, he came up with an easy, affordable and expandable EdTech robot for all ages.
⚙️ Why Open Source?
Open Source enables people to share their inventions. This shared approach encourages innovation, new functions and designs to improve the whole educational experience.
All source codes, software, design to 3D print and knowledge are free and available for anyone in the world. We empower our community to share and collaborate openly; what brings amazing new creations to life!
🌞 Now
Thanks to Otto DIY open source nature, it has become one of the most popular 3D printable robot designs in the world, due to its simple Do-it-yourself core minimalistic design.
Otto is the first-ever OSHW (Open Source Hardware) certificated project from the Czech Republic.
🏆 Educational and Accessible
Our award-winning design has become a staple in the EdTech industry because we bring an affordable STEM + A robot kit that is rich in education.
Families, Educators and hobbyists around the world can improve their critical thinking, meta-learning and growth-mindset.
👨🏭 How our robot kits are made?
Quality control is important to us. For this to be possible, we have our own 3D printing farm in Europe, where we have lots of machines making robots every day and engineers manually double check every component.
💪 Our mission
We want to make robotics education even more accessible, every day we work hard to make Otto even more affordable and versatile.
Even do Otto is already everywhere, we need your help to share in social media with #ottodiy, join our community, give us feedback, share and encourage more people to become makers.
