Otto DIY has been pre-selected for Impact Edtech Accelerator Remote Schooling initiative sponsored by the European Union. Beginning November 16th-20th the accelerator will take place online.
Otto DIY’s main focus through Impact Edtech will be initiating our new program
Otto At Home where we will offer and support hundreds of students across the European Union with Otto Builder Kits. In addition, program members will have access to the Otto Academy online Learning Management System for courses at www.ottoschool.com. The program is meant to support after school learning due to the lack of programs caused from the pandemic.
Below is the timeline of our program:
December, 2020
Application opens for first round of accepted product candidates
For Educators organizing a group of students, an interview will be initiated as part of the acceptance process
January, 2021
Shipments of first applicants
Recruitment of second round product candidates
Ottoschool.com will be completed and ready to use for program members
February, 2021
Shipments of second round (robot kits )
Third and fourth rounds of the program will take effect in summer 2021 after fulfilling program KPI’s set in place during the Impact Edtech Accelerator week.
